Unión Impulsora de Hoteles, S.A. de C.V., (hereinafter referred to as HOTEL CASA BLANCA) with registered office at Lafragua No. 7, Col. Tabacalera, Delegación Cuauhtémoc, C.P. 06030 México, D.F., is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data in accordance with the provisions of Article 15 of the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals (hereinafter referred to as the “Law”) and its regulations, which means that such data will only be used for the following purposes:

Main Purposes

We use the data we collect from you for the following purposes which are necessary for the requested service:

  • Booking and provision of accommodation services.
  • Reception and guest registration.
  • Provision of restaurant and bar services.
  • Provision of catering services.
  • Provision of event and convention services.
  • Invoicing.
  • Inform you about changes in the services requested, prices, availability and payment conditions.
  • Sending information by electronic means about the products and services you request from HOTEL CASA BLANCA.
  • Verification of the credit or debit card details with which you intend to make or make the payment for the services requested from HOTEL CASA BLANCA.
  • Management of the collection of any possible debts.
  • Payment of suppliers for goods and services requested by HOTEL CASA BLANCA.
  • Identification of the data subject.
  • Establishing contact and maintaining communication with you regarding the products and/or services that are requested from HOTEL CASA BLANCA.

Secondary purposes

Likewise, by providing your personal data, you authorise HOTEL CASA BLANCA to use them for statistical, promotional, advertising and informative purposes regarding the services offered by HOTEL CASA BLANCA, as well as quality surveys about the provision of services. Personal data collected

Name, origin, residence, origin, company you represent or work for, occupation, invoicing data (RFC, CURP, fiscal address, payment method), account numbers, credit and/or debit card and/or promotional numbers, telephone numbers, email address and personal signature, electronic signature and photograph if applicable.

This information may be collected as follows:

  • When the information is provided directly by you and certified with copies of official documents (IFE, passport, if necessary, proof of address, tax certificate, powers of attorney, articles of incorporation), this verifies the authenticity of the information provided and ensures the security and protection of the data. For accommodation services, you are also required to fill in and sign the registration card that we provide upon arrival.
  • When you use the services offered online by Hotel Casa Blanca, the documentation mentioned in the previous point is provided by email if it is necessary for the provision of the service.

Processing of sensitive data

Sensitive personal data are considered to be those personal data that affect the most private affairs of the data subject, or whose improper use may give rise to discrimination or entail a serious risk for the data subject. In particular, data that may reveal aspects such as racial or ethnic origin, present and future state of health, genetic information, religious, philosophical and moral beliefs, trade union membership, political opinions and sexual preferences are considered sensitive.

Of the sensitive data mentioned above, HOTEL CASA BLANCA only requires information about your origin, and this is processed solely for internal statistical purposes, so it is not transferred or disclosed, and the privacy required by law is maintained.

Information management with third parties

HOTEL CASA BLANCA will not transfer your personal data to third parties as long as they do not fall under the provisions of article 37 of the Law, which is transcribed below:

  • When the transfer is provided for in a law or treaty to which Mexico is a party;
  • When the transfer is necessary for the purposes of prevention or medical diagnosis, the provision of healthcare, medical treatment or the management of health services;
  • When the transfer is made to holding companies, subsidiaries or affiliates under common control of the controller, or to a parent company or any company in the same group as the controller that operates under the same internal policies and processes;
  • When the transfer is required by virtue of a contract concluded or to be concluded in the interest of the data subject, data controller and a third party;
  • When the transfer is necessary or legally required for the safeguarding of a public interest, or for the administration of justice;
  • When the transfer is necessary for the recognition, exercise or defence of a right in legal proceedings, and
  • When the transfer is necessary for the maintenance or performance of a legal relationship between the data controller and the data subject.

Means of exercising your right of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition and withdrawal of consent

In accordance with Chapter IV, Articles 22 and 28 of the Law, you have the right to access, limit, rectify and cancel your personal data, as well as to oppose the processing of the data or revoke your consent and you may do so at any time you wish in accordance with Article 29 of the Law in the following manner:

  • By means of a written request addressed to our Personal Data Protection Department at Hotel Casa Blanca, attention Ms. Maria de los Angeles Fernández García, which can be delivered in printed form directly to the address: Lafragua No. 7, Col.   • State the full name of the data subject and address, or another way in which we can communicate our response.
  • Provide documentation proving the data subject’s identity or, as the case may be, legal representation, as well as the elements and/or documents that may facilitate the location of the personal data being processed.
  • Describe clearly and precisely the steps you wish to take in order to exercise any of the above-mentioned rights (access, rectification, cancellation and opposition).

The cancellation process will be preceded by a blocking period during which your data will only be stored for a period equivalent to the prescription period for the actions that resulted in the processing of your personal data or the period required by Mexican law. There are cases in which personal data cannot be deleted by law.

Once we receive your request, we will respond to it, either by email or in writing according to the information you have indicated in your request (mail or document), within a maximum period of 20 working days from the date on which the request was received. If appropriate, the request will be effective within fifteen days from the date on which the response is communicated, in accordance with Article 32 of the Law.

Means to limit the use or disclosure of personal data

Registration in the opt-out list “advertising list”, so that your personal data will not be processed for marketing, advertising or commercial prospecting purposes on our part.
